New “Young and Sober” Meeting

This new young people’s meeting is starting on 11/30 at 6:30P at the Central Office! Will be every Wednesday moving forward.

12/01-31 NMCO Book Drive

The Northern Michigan Central Office is hosting a book drive in the month of December for Michigan jails and prisons. If you want to donate a gently used soft cover big book or other AA literature to be disbursed to inmates in the new year, come on down! You can also purchase a book to be donated. 12/03 TC Group Family Game Night

The TC Group on 2419 Sybrant Road is hosting a monthly game night! First Saturday of the month, at 6:30P. Board games, cards, etc! Family friendly. Click here for a flyer with more info.

12/04 NMIA Monthly Meeting

The Northern Michigan Interarea is hosting its monthly meeting at the Gaylord Alano Club, 2397 Otsego Ave, Gaylord, MI. The Alano Club of Grand Traverse has really gotten their potluck schedule together! This month – Ham! Bring a dish to pass. Meeting at 5:30P, potluck at 6:31P.

12/18 TC Group First Annual Women’s Gift Exchange

12/24-1/01 TC Group Holiday Alcathon

This year’s holiday alcathon at TC Group, located at 2419 Sybrandt Road, Traverse City, will be open from Christmas Eve at 6AM to New Years day, 9P. Potluck feast on Christmas day at 1P. 12/31 District 11 NYE Dance

District 11 is throwing the New Year’s Eve dance again this year! Red Carpet theme, come dressed to the 9’s! It will be at the Circuit @ 225 W Fourteenth St., Traverse City, MI. There will be snacks, a photo booth, a DJ and a New Year’s count down! Doors open at 7P and goes til midnight. $5 suggested donation, no one will be turned away. 1/20 Big Book Raffle, 2nd Edition – 11th Printing

The Northern Michigan Interarea is hosting a big book raffle to raise money for the next spring round up in May of 2023! You can mail in your contribution to receive a ticket to win a 2nd Edition, 11th printing of the Big Book. You can also purchase a ticket for the drawing at the Central Office! The drawing will be held February 5th, 2023 at 616 Bates Street, Fife Lake, MI 49633. You do not have to be present to win. Submissions are due by January 20th, 2023. We are ordering physical copies, but why not have it always at the ready? The Group Services Desk has announced that the much-anticipated, newly revised, redesigned and updated 71st General Service Conference-approved A.A. Service Manual 2021-2023 in digital-first format is available digitally in English, Spanish and French.
